Update from Chillicothe, Texas

The final day of revival meetings was tonight. What a great week of meetings. The folks here have been so kind to me. I’ve gotten so many encouraging comments from folks and will look forward to when I am able to return.

Once of the interesting aspects of this week is the way I struggled physically since Monday. I don’t know what hit me, but it feels like a sinus flu. I’ve been struggling with a fever on and off, and near constant coughing and sneezing. I’ve gone through countless Kleenex! But the interesting thing is that when I would stand to speak, I wouldn’t cough or sneeze the entire time. It was so weird. I really believe God was answering the prayers of so many who were praying for me this week. I was able to preach all the services and even if my voice was weak, the message was still getting out there. So grateful for the way the Lord met me in my weakness and reminded me that it is always about HIM.

I fly home tomorrow (Thursday) and will look forward to recuperating in the Florida sunshine!
