Undie Sunday!

When I first heard “Undie Sunday” announced at my local church, I thought, “What on earth! Are we all going to wear our favorite underwear to church?” But when I learned the details about this creative initiative I thought, “Brilliant!”

Undie Sunday is a donation drive designed to meet some of the practical needs of local foster care children. It is an initiative of Bridge a Life, a local foster care ministry based in Sarasota, Florida. The mission of Bridge a Life is to equip Christ followers to provide for orphans everywhere so that children are loved in fully-equipped families as they are loved by Christ, bringing about restoration and generational change.

Bridge of Life is teaming up with local churches by collecting boys’ and girls’ underwear, socks, toothpaste, and toothbrushes to support these children. They have other clever ideas that could be implemented in YOUR church.
