Focusing On The Faithfulness Of God

Sometimes we say, “I’m living by faith.” But I think a better way to communicate it is to say, “I’m living on the faithfulness of God.” When I say, “I’m living by faith”, the focus is on my faith, be it little or much. But when I say, “I’m living on the faithfulness of God,” the focus is on his faithfulness, which is always greater than mine.

Focusing on the faithfulness of God is infinitely better than focusing on myself. When the focus is on my faith, I will always question whether I have enough. When the focus is on the faithfulness of God, there is always more than I need.
